Quennie Mae Beard
Services for Quennie Mae Beard, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.Friday, Aug. 1, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Little Bahalia Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Beard, 93, died July 30, 2008, at Haven Hall Health Center.She was born on May 26, 1915, to Joe Hyatt and Harrett HamiltonHyatt.
She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of LittleBahalia Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ClarenceRay Beard; her stepmother, Lillie Hyatt; a sister, Era Ella Hyatt;a brother, Archie Hyatt; her two grandchildren; and her twogreat-grandchildren.
Survivors are her sons, J.R. Beard and Charles Ray Beard; adaughter, Louella Floyd; her eight grandchildren; her 13great-grandchildren; and her 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Joyce A. Williamson
Services for Joyce A. Williamson, of Summit, are 10 a.m. Friday,Aug. 1, at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home Chapel in McComb withburial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Billy Joe Deer willofficiate.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williamson, 59, died July 30, 2008, at her residence. Shewas born in Brained, Minn., on Oct. 24, 1948, to Percy McKenzie andRuth Olson McKenzie.
She was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her father and a brother, Clarence”Rusty” McKenzie.
Survivors are her mother; her husband, Jimmy D. Williamson, ofSummit; a son, Randy Williamson, of Summit; a sister, Diane Johnsonand husband, Paul, of McComb; her two grandchildren, Layla BrittanyWilliamson and Tate Williamson, both of Pricedale.
