Services for Delos Dee “D. D.” Kennedy, of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Kennedy, 80, died July 31, 2008, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1928, to David DelosKennedy and Eula Belle Goff Kennedy.

He was a graduate of Mississippi College and was retired fromPackard. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Joe Boyte Kennedy; his son, DavidKennedy and wife, Cindy, of Brookhaven; his stepson, Roger Maxwelland wife, Sharon, of California; his daughter, Diane Vesa andhusband, Nick, of Madison; his sister, Jean Raines, of Fairhope,Ala., and his grandchildren, Chris Kennedy and wife, Alice, ofBrookhaven, Angel Vance and husband, Kevin, of Madison, and MickyVesa and wife, Telci, of Madison.
