Services for Anna Ree Robinson, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Monday, Aug. 18, at Bethel A.M.E. Church with burial in HillcrestCemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Robinson, 75, died Aug. 14, 2008, at Central MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Laurel on Sept. 27,1932, to William Simmons and Eran Nixon Simmons.

She was a hairstylist. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church,where she served as steward, trustee and pastor’s aide.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, DeborahSimmons.

Survivors are her husband, Elige Robinson, of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Gay Havard, of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren;and one great-grandchild.
