Melanie May Mahnke

Services for Melanie May Mahnke, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel.

Visitation is Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Mahnke, 59, died Oct. 5, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn on July 26, 1949, to Thomas W. May and Aline McCormickMay.

She was a retired autoworker with Delphi Packard Electric. Shewas a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her father; her husband, SkipMahnke; and a brother, Kevin May.

Survivors are her mother; a son, Kenneth E. Bowman Jr. and wife,Terri; a daughter, Mariah A. Reed and husband, Tony; a brother,Tommy May; her sisters, Martha Ott and husband, Cliff, and RebaBandaries; her two grandsons, Brett Knight and Skyler Knight; and agranddaughter, McKenzie Bowman.
