Services for Marie R. Beasley, of Ridgeland, are 10 a.m.Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daySaints of the Red Star Ward with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome on North Jackson Street.

Mrs. Beasley, 77, died Nov. 12, 2008, in Ridgeland. She was bornin Lincoln County on Feb. 14, 1931, to Willie Reed and Grace BrittReed.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christof Latter-day Saints of the Red Star Ward.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, OliverLeon Beasley; and a grandchild, Kristy Newell.

Survivors are her daughters, Marsha Edwards and husband, Guy, ofRidgeland, and Sydna Lopez and husband, Hiram, of Utah; hergrandchildren, Laura Summers, Jeffrey Newell, Joy Roberts, AaronEdwards and Joshua Edwards; her great-grandchildren, JustinSummers, Brynn Roberts and Chase Roberts.
