Services for Flordia Lee Jones, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Monday, Nov. 17, at St. Paul M.B. Church with burial in CarverHeights Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Jones, 94, died Nov. 12, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn in Franklin County on Feb. 16, 1914, to Emmitt Coleman andMary Coleman.

She was retired. She was a member of St. Paul M.B. Church, whereshe was well-known as an usher of the church for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ShelbyJones; her daughter, Johnnie Mae Jones; three sisters, Estelle,Mary and Sally; and two brothers, Johnny and Woodrow.

Survivors are her nieces, Ruthie Turner, of Brookhaven, and ArmaJohnson, of Chicago, Ill.; her nephews, Leonard Thomas, ofBrookhaven, Leroy Thomas and Willie Thomas, both of Weed, Calif.,and Prentiss Thomas, of Springfield, Mass.; her cousin, Lillie MaeJackson, of Brookhaven; her goddaughters, Ivy Burt and DarleneRichardson, both of Brookhaven; and many nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
