Services for David Earl Robinson, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Friday, Nov. 21, at St. Paul M.B. Church with burial in New HopeM.B. Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 7 p.m. with family present from6 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Robinson, 62, died Nov. 16, 2008, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 18,1945, to Milton “Cooter” Robinson and Priscilla PattonRobinson.

He was a 1965 graduate of Alexander High School. He was retired. Hewas a member of New Hope M.B. Church, where he served on the deaconboard.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Gussie MaeWhite; his brothers, L.C. Robinson, Willie James Robinson andJessie Robinson.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley A. Robinson, of Brookhaven; adaughter, Shawn’ee M. Robinson, of Brookhaven; his sons, LaurelRobinson and Clint Robinson, both of Brookhaven; his sisters, LelaMae Blissett and Daisy L. Robinson, both of Brookhaven; a brother,Odell Robinson, of Milwaukee, Wis.; his two grandchildren,Shunzetta Wilson and Coderro McDaniel, both of Brookhaven; and histwo great-grandchildren, William Douglas Ard and DeSean TavaresArd, both of Brookhaven.
