Thomas Patrick ‘Tomas’ Lockett
Services for Thomas Patrick “Tomas” Lockett, of Ruth, are 2 p.m.Sunday, Dec. 7, at Community Family Funeral Services with burial inPowell’s Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lockett, 67, died Dec. 4, 2008, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Houston,Texas, on April 4, 1941, to Jack Carson Lockett and Nona SanneLockett.
He was a graduate of Warren Easton High School. He was a retiredwaste management worker of 20 years. He served in the U.S.Marines.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Darrell L.Lockett; and his sister, Martha Brown Miller.
Survivors are his wife of 41 years, Mrytis Louise Beard Lockett, ofRuth; his sons, Danny P. Lockett, of Ruth, and David P. Lockett, ofNew Orleans, La.; his brother, Jack A. Brown, of Texas; and hissisters, Barbara Leverette, of Michigan, and Georgia Cousins, ofSlidell, La.; and one grandchild.
Kenneth Egene Moore
Services for Kenneth Egene Moore, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Monday,Dec. 8, at Community Family Funeral Services with burial in StewartCemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Moore, 40, died Dec. 6, 2008, in Brookhaven. He was born inCopiah County on Jan. 30, 1968, to James Willie Moore and ShirleyNell Fuller Moore.
He was disabled.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Tammy Jordan;and his brother, Chad Moore Sr.
Survivors are his brothers, Willie Moore, Billy Wayne Moore andAndy Moore; and his sisters, Sharon Jackson, Penny Bailey, ConnieGrenn, Bonnie Varnado and Alice Jordan.
Gordon Lush
A private memorial service for Gordon Lush, of Sontag, will beheld. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation will be held by the family at a later date.
Mr. Lush, 64, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson. He was born on June 28, 1944, to William Lushand Mildred Lush.
He was a communications tech for Shell Pipeline. He attended ShilohBaptist Church. He was in the U.S. Navy during the Koreanconflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his granddaughter,Megan Erin Bass.
Survivors are his wife, Nan Ray Farris Lush; his sons, Sam Lush, ofArkansas, John Lush, of Tennessee, and Kevin Lush, of Sontag; hisdaughters, Margaret Lush Tyson, of North Carolina, Nan Ray LushNations and Michelle Lush Reynolds, both of Sontag; his brother,Robert Lush, of Sontag; his sister, Vi Horschack, of New Jersey; 19grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Doris Elsie Jordan Pace
Services for Doris Elsie Jordan Pace, formerly of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NatchezDrive with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Pace, 90, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Williamson Medical Center inFranklin, Tenn. She was born in Brookhaven on July 18, 1918, to JoeBoone Jordan and Janie Mae Cameron Jordan.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Hall BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, John L.Pace.
Survivors are her son, Mike Pace, of Ruth; her daughter, SusanIlle, of Franklin, Tenn.; her brother, George Jordan, ofBrookhaven; her grandchildren, Mark and James Pace, JessicaHockenbery, Stephanie Ille; and five great-grandchildren.
