Services for Dale Starks, of Roxie, are 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28,at Franklin High School Auditorium in Meadville with burial in HuntCemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the serviceat Franklin High School Auditorium.

Mr. Starks, 42, died Dec. 21, 2008, at Natchez CommunityHospital. He was born in Natchez on June 26, 1966, to John LeeStarks Sr. and Margaret White Starks.

Preceding him in death were his father, John Lee Starks Sr.; hisson, Dale Starks Jr.; and his grandmother, Letha White.

Survivors are his wife, Stacey Davis Starks; his children,Demareo Starks, Mildred Starks and Morgan Starks, all of Roxie; hismother, Margaret Starks, of Roxie; his father, Henry “Pop” Rogers,of Roxie; his brothers, David Starks, John Starks Jr., DerrickStarks, Dee Starks, Grant Rogers and Charles Hunt, all of Roxie,Alvin Starks, of Meadville, and Mark Rogers, of Vicksburg; hissisters, Sylvia Lucas and Connie Rogers, both of Roxie, TheresaHaggard, of Vicksburg, and Tasha Puckett, of Houston, Texas; andmany nieces and nephews.
