Services for Charles A. Price Sr., of Washington, D.C., are 10a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at St. Paul M.B. Church with burial inNatchez National Cemetery. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.

Elder Price, 78, died Jan. 2, 2009, at VA Medical Center NursingHome in Washington. He was born in Brookhaven on July 27, 1930, tothe Rev. Willis B. Price and Ernestine Price.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in Korea andreceived the Korean Service Medal and OCC Ribbon in Japan.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Alice;his brothers, Ernest and Allen Price; and his sisters, DorothyPrice and Bernice Wright.

Survivors are his wife, Lille M. Grier-Price, of Washington; hissons, Charles A. Price Jr., of Washington; his daughter, ConniePrice, of Washington; his brothers, Willie Price and Eugene Price,of Gary, Ind., and George and Cornell Price, of Jackson; hissisters, Carolyn Reed, of Brookhaven, and Regena Morgan and VoraHoward, of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren.
