Services for Hulon Johnston, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. Monday,Jan. 12, at Montgomery Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. The Revs. Bob Lynch and Mike Mckee will officiate. JonesFamily Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home andMonday from noon until the time of the service at the church.

Mr. Johnston, 81, died of a heart condition on Jan. 10, 2009, atCamellia Estates in McComb. He was born in Lincoln County on May 5,1927, to Quilla and Carrie B. Johnson.

He was a retired contractor and U.S. Army veteran of World WarII. He was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one daughter,Carolyn Ducote.

Survivors are his wife of 58 happy years, Clarine T. Johnston,of Bogue Chitto; his brothers, Homer Carol and Laron Johnston, bothof Denham Springs, La.; his sisters, Lottie Parker, of Zachary,La., and Louise Smiley, of Livingston, La.; his grandchild, ClayDucote, of Bogue Chitto; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Johnston, Stewart Thornton, SteveThornton, Elliot Moak, Howard Wright and Jamie Wright.
