Graveside services for John M. Lanier Sr., formerly of McComb,are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb.Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lanier, 74, died Jan. 27, 2009. He was born to John Orvilleand Beulah Webb Lanier.

Mr. Lanier grew up in McComb and also had a successful careerwith the U.S. Department of Food and Drug Administration.

Survivors are his wife, Laura Lanier; his sons, John Jr., Robertand David; a daughter, Amelia; a brother, Frank Webb Lanier; andhis three grandsons.
