Services for Mary T. Hampton, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Tuesday,Feb. 3, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive withburial in Mallalieu Methodist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Hampton, 84, died Feb. 1, 2009, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Brookhaven on April 12, 1924,to Robert J. Thornhill Sr. and Mattie Rials Thornhill.

She was a retired secretary. She was a member of MallalieuMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her daughter, Pam Moody, of Brookhaven; a brother,Wesley Thornhill, of Hammond, La.; her three grandchildren, CindyPitts, Susan Snow and Melissa Gray; her seven great-grandchildren;and a great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
