Memorial services for James Russell Dunson, of Natchez, were 11a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Cranfield Baptist Church. MarshallFuneral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dunson, 87, died March 23, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn in Perryville, Ark., on June 22, 1921, to James Wiley Dunsonand Era Smith Dunson.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Biodie SharaDunson; his son, Gary Dunson; his daughter, Joyce Dunson; 10brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors are his daughter, Pam Dunson, of Canton; his sons,Donnie Benson and Felix Robertson, of Canton; his brothers, HarperDunson, of Stanton, and Dave Dunson, of Sibley; his niece; threenephews; his sister-in-law; and several other relatives andfriends.
