Services for Larry Shelton Williams Sr., of Brandon, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, March 31, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Brandon Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home andTuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Mr. Williams, 59, died March 29, 2009, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland.

He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl. He was amaster technician for Blackwell Chevrolet / Gray Daniels AutoFamily for 39 years and earned many national achievement awards forexcellence in his field. Mr. Williams’ heart belonged to hisgrandson, Spencer, and he was anxiously awaiting the birth of hissecond grandson. Mr. Williams also enjoyed wood carpentry as ahobby.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Sarah Swann Williams.

Survivors are his loving wife, Elizabeth F. Williams, ofBrandon; his children, Shelly Byrd and husband, Scottie, BeckyThomas and husband, Kevin, and Larry Shelton Williams Jr. and wife,Tori, all of Brandon; his father and stepmother, Shelton and AudreyWilliams, of Brookhaven; a sister, Elizabeth Lynn Green andhusband, James, of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Melvin Ray andwife, Alicia, of Brookhaven; and a grandson, Spencer Byrd.
