Lloyd Patrick Huguley

Services for Lloyd Patrick Huguley, of Monticello, are 3 p.m.Monday, April 6, at Monticello Methodist Church with burial inMonticello. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Huguley, 81, died April 4, 2009, at Lawrence CountyHospital. He was born in Mississippi on Dec. 22, 1927, to WillieHuguley and Madge Gunnell Huguley.

He was a retired welfare director for Lawrence County. He was amember of Monticello Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sons, WilliamHuguley and Lloyd Huguley; a sister, Dixie Dewitt; his grandsons,Cane and Paul Huguley.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Butler Huguley, of Monticello;a son, Harold Huguley, of Monticello; a daughter, Deborah Huguley,of Dalton, Ga.; his sisters, Billie Cothern, of Ruth, and RamonaHurt, of Jackson; his four grandchildren, Bailey Everett, KyleHuguley, Patrick Huguley and David Huguley; his twogreat-grandchildren, Braydon Huguley and Madison Huguley.

Louvenia Gaston Jackson

Services for Louvenia Gaston Jackson are 2 p.m. Wednesday, April8, at Williams Mortuary Chapel in Brookhaven with burial in CarverHeights Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Jackson, 99, died April 3, 2009, at Jefferson CountyHospital in Fayette. She was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 4, 1910, toWill Gaston and Katie Gaston.

She was retired. She was a member of the House of Prayer.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,Jessie James Peavy; her second husband, Curtis Jackson; hersisters, Janie Mae Kelly, Lula Mae Banks, Lucretia McArthur andGeraldine McLaurin; and her brothers, J.W. Gaston and MinyonGaston.

Survivors are her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephewsand other relatives.

Marie Bryant Zimmerman

Services for Marie Bryant Zimmerman, of Roxie, were 11 a.m.Monday, April 6, at Meadville Baptist Church in Meadville withburial in Mid-Way Cemetery in Meadville. Harrigill Funeral Home wasin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Zimmerman, 85, died April 3, 2009, at Franklin CountyMemorial Hospital. She was born on Sept. 16, 1923, to Steve Bryantand Sarah Ashley.

She was a sales person in a department store. She was a memberof Meadville Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, NicholasHerman Zimmerman; and her brothers, George Bryant, Lawrence Bryantand Steven Bryant.

Survivors are her sons, Nicholas H. Zimmerman Jr. and wife,Janet Ann, and Steve A. Zimmerman and wife, Anita Jane, all ofRoxie; a sister, Waunita Allen, of Crestview, La.; her fivegrandchildren; and her seven great-grandchildren.
