Services for Willie D. Keys Sr., of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Thursday, April 9, at Macedonia M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in Mt. Zion M.B. Church Cemetery on Highway 550.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at Williams Mortuarywith family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Keys, 68, died April 2, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on May 30,1940, to Turley Keys and Louvenia Allen Keys.

He was retired. He was a member of Macedonia M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, JohnHenry Keys, Robert Keys and Edward Keys; his sisters, AudreyEdwards, Lula Marie Stamps and Emma Jean Triggs.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Hooker Keys, of Brookhaven; hissons, Willie Keys Jr. and wife, Louvenia, of Richmond, Va.; hisdaughters, Madie Lavern Sanders, of Chicago, Ill., Helen Owens andhusband, Eddie, of Chesapeake, Va., and Debra Keys-Robinson andhusband, Cory, of Snellville, Ga.; a brother, Roger Keys, ofCaseyville; a sister, Flora Keys Foster, of Brookhaven; his eightgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
