Services for Kenneth Ray Wilbert Sr., of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Monday, April 13, at New Vision Fellowship Center with burial inHillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Wilbert, 52, died April 8, 2009, at River Regions MedicalCenter in Vicksburg. He was born in Brookhaven on April 8, 1957, toEdward Wilbert and Alberta Wilbert.

He was a 1976 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a member ofAvery Chapel A.M.E. Church. He was a licensed self-employedbuilding contractor.

Preceding him in death was his mother; his sisters, Evelyn Banksand Dorothy Johnson; his brother, Billy Wayne Wilbert; and his son,Kenneth Ray Wilbert Jr.

Survivors are his father, Edward Wilbert Sr., of Brookhaven; hissons, Jermaine Wilbert, of Brookhaven, and Travis Wilbert, of UnionSprings, Ala.; his daughter, DeAdrienne Wilbert, of Union Springs,Ala.; his sister, Mary Grayer, of Brookhaven; his brothers, RobertWilbert and wife, Tiea, of Brookhaven, Edward E. Wilbert, ofNashville, Tenn., Marvin “Bo” Wilbert and wife, Cynthia, of Waco,Texas, and Van Wilbert and wife, Barbara, of Jackson; sixgrandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
