Services for Audrey Corinne Brown, of Bogue Chitto, were 10 a.m.Monday, April 27, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive was incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brown, 79, died April 25, 2009, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 10, 1929,to Esco Wallace and Ethel Brown Wallace.

She was an operator for South Central Bell for 30 years. She wasa member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a former member ofCentral Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her two sisters,Ida Elaine Smith and Nelda Faye Moak.

Survivors are her husband, Garland Brown, of Bogue Chitto; hersons, Joseph Garland Brown and wife, Kathy, of Collierville, Tenn.,and Perry Scott Brown and wife, Vasie, of Bogue Chitto; hersisters, Gladys Idelle Magee and Dorothy Lavelle Carlisle, both ofBogue Chitto; her four grandchildren, Perry Scott Brown Jr., JordanGarland Brown, Joshua Gregory Brown and Meleah Dawn Brown; and ahost of nieces and nephews.
