Fred ‘Hap’ Kimble

Services for Fred “Hap” Kimble, of Lincoln County, are 10 a.m.Saturday, May 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day SaintsRed Star Ward with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome on Natchez Drive and Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m. at thechurch.

Mr. Kimble, 70, died May 6, 2009, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Brookhaven on Jan. 15,1939, to Samuel Alfred Kimble and Mary Louise Marble Kimble.

He was a pipeline welder. He was a member of the Church of JesusChrist of Latter Day Saints Red Star Ward.

Preceding him in death were his father, Alfred Kimble; and abrother, Alfred Kimble Jr.

Survivors are his mother, Mary Louise Kimble, of Lincoln County;his wife, Deola Kimble, of Lincoln County; his sons, Sammy Kimbleand wife, Anna, and Steven Kimble and wife, Melinda, all ofBrookhaven; a brother, Edwin Kimble and wife, Jean, of Vicksburg;his seven grandchildren, Kelsey, Brett, Jackson, Shelby, Heidi,Olivia and Christopher.
