Maryline Holley

Services for Maryline Holley, of Greenville, were 10 a.m.Thursday, May 28, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville withburial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Holley, 74, died May 25, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn in Ruth on March 17, 1935, to Berkley and Rena Hux.

She grew up and attended school in Brookhaven. She has been aresident of Greenville since 1951. She was a devoted mother, wifeand homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, BlancheHolley; her brothers, B.C. Hux and Richard Hux; her sisters, MargieCantrell, Lettie Mae Bells and Vera Hux.

Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Mark Holley, ofGreenville; her sons, Larry Holley and wife, Betty, of Greenville,Robert Holley and wife, Janet, of Lake Village, Ark., and KeithHolley and wife, Kim, of Clinton; a daughter, Dena Estes andhusband, Buddy, of Eros, La.; her brothers, Oliver Hux and wife,Mildred, Herbert Hux and wife, Carolyn, Jerry Hux and D.D. Hux andwife, Rose, all of Brookhaven; a sister, Linda Lambert and husband,Curry, of Brookhaven; her 10 grandchildren; her 13great-grandchildren; and her beloved faithful pet, Sassy.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Jim Sutton

Services for Jim Sutton, of Brandon, are 2 p.m. Friday, May 29,at New Prospect Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial in thechurch cemetery.Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. atRiverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mr. Sutton, 48, died May 26, 2009, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on Aug. 13, 1960, to JamesDale Sutton Sr. and Dorothy Smith Sutton.

He was owner of American Gutter Company Inc. He was a member ofPinelake Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Willis and MaudeSmith and James H. and Lavenia Sutton.

Survivors are his parents, James Dale Sutton Sr. and DorothySmith Sutton, of Brookhaven; his wife, Sue Sutton; a son, JonBrandt Sutton, of Brandon; a daughter, Megan Terah Sutton, ofBrandon; a father- and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Carolyn Lambert, ofBrookhaven; a brother, Stan and Sandy Winborne; his sisters, PatParker and husband, John, of Hattiesburg, and Cindy Thompson, ofBrookhaven; his five nephews; and his two nieces.
