Services for Kay Strickland, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. Saturday,June 6, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel in Brookhavenwith burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Strickland, 88, died May 29, 2009, at Silver Cross Home.She was born on Jan. 18, 1921, to James Fred McLain and LizzieAletha Lambert.

She retired from the Cracker Barrel Store. She was of Baptistfaith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, H.V.Strickland; and two brothers.

Survivors are a son, Joe Strickland and wife, Donna, of Brandon;her daughters, Kay Moulder, of Madison, Ann Kennedy and husband,Jerry, of Wesson, and Betty Strickland, of Madison, Ga.; her eightgrandchildren; and her 16 great-grandchildren.
