WESSON – The Lincoln County National League All-Stars cruised toa 22-0 Wednesday triumph over Walthall County in the Dixie Youth AA7s North Subdistrict Six Tournament. They’ll tackle McComb tonightat 8 in a battle of unbeaten teams.

The Lincoln County Americans lost 9-8 to Wesson last night in 9innings and were eliminated. Peyton Morse hit a homer for theAmericans who scored all 8 of their runs in the second inning.

Nationals 22, Walthall 0

Managed by Randy Spring, the Nationals exploded for 8,first-inning runs. They scored 5 more in the second and plated 9more in the third.

Directing the Nationals’ 28-hit attack was Brady Spring who went4-for-4, including a double. Travis Hall singled twice and homered.Garrison Coffey singled twice and doubled. John Burns and DustinPrather both went 3-for-3. Gatson Walker singled and doubled.

Austin Fugler went 3-for-3, with a double for the winners. ColeSmith doubled twice and singled. Karlton Byrd doubled and singled.Jerid Dunaway doubled and Carson Rounsaville singled.

Walthall County got a 2-for-2 performance from Gage Kennedy.Blade Martin and Brady Warner singled.
