Services for John Salvato D’Antoni Jr., of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NorthJackson Street with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven.Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. D’Antoni, 72, died July 12, 2009, at his residence inBrookhaven. He was born in Brookhaven on March 16, 1937, to JohnD’Antoni Sr. and Josephine Salvato D’Antoni.
He was a retired boilermaker and served in the U.S. Air Forcewith the Air Force Security Forces. He was a member of St. Francisof Assisi Catholic Church of Brookhaven.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are a daughter, Michele D’Antoni Smith and husband,Mitchell, of Brookhaven; a grandchild, Anna Beth Smith; and hiscousins, Mary and Charles D’Antoni, of Morganza, La.
The family would like to thank Deaconess Hospice, particularlyregistered nurse Sherry Bessonette, for the wonderful care providedto Mr. D’Antoni. They would also like to thank Bobby Thomas andKatie Ruth Harris for the care and compassion given to their lovedone.

Mrs. Ezell, 69, died July 12, 2009, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Brookhaven on June 11,1940, to James Walter Greenlee and Ernestine Foster GreenleeTurman.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Moriah BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Charles W.Turman; a sister, Diane Hodges; and a grandmother, Emma EllaFoster.
Survivors are her forever friend and partner in life, Roy Ezell,of Crystal Springs; her sons, James Ezell and wife, Buffy, andMichael Ezell and wife, Wendy, all of Brookhaven; her daughters,Janna Becker, of Brookhaven, Susan Mason and Ginger Ezell, both ofMonticello; a brother, Jim Greenlee, of Sevierville, Tenn.; hersisters, Trudy Baker, of Sevierville, Charlene Douglas, ofBrookhaven, Doris Cooper, of Hazlehurst, and Rita Cooper, of Byram;her 13 grandchildren; and her 13 great-grandchildren.

Maude Alice Watson Prishmont, 85, loving mother and grandmother,died Sunday, July 12, at Brook Manor Nursing Home in Brookhaven.Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, atBrookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street. The funeralservice will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onWednesday, July 15, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at FriendshipBaptist Church.
She was born to William Leon Watson and Katie Case Watson onJuly 12, 1924, in Lincoln County.
A devout Christian, she was a founding member of Central BaptistChurch. She loved her church and was involved in a number oforganizations there. She attended business college after graduatingfrom Heuck’s Retreat High School. She worked at Stahl-Urban forseveral years before living around the country as a military wife.She took advantage of the opportunities that her travels allowedand enjoyed learning about different cultures with her family.
She valued her family and friends above all. She will be greatlymissed as she is remembered for her kind, gentle spirit and sweetsmile.
After she reared her family, she returned home to Brookhavenwhere she lived out her life among her large extended family.
Maude Alice is survived by her children, Karan Prishmont Baileyand husband, Mark, of Birmingham, Ala., Regina Prishmont Hutchins,of Jackson, and Richard Prishmont and wife, Debra, of Columbus; hergrandchildren, Allison and Katherine Bailey, William Hutchins,Kristy Davis and Scotty Davis and wife, Denise; she had onegreat-grandchild, Noah Davis.

Services for Thomas Jerry Smith, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. Tuesday,July 14, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inBeauregard Methodist Church Cemetery in Wesson.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Smith, 68, died July 12, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born on Sept. 18, 1940, to Walter J.”Smutt” Smith and Marjorie Kelly.
He was a parts and service manager and a mechanic. He was amember of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and attended BeauregardMethodist Church. He a member of Wesson Lions Club and was in BoyScouts of America.
Preceding him in death were his father, Walter J. “Smutt” Smith;and a brother, Michael Joe Smith.
Survivors are his mother, Marjorie Kelly; his wife, Dorothy P.Smith; a son, Corey Smith and wife, Carolina; his daughters, KellySmith and husband, John D. Smith, and Marcy J. Smith; a brother,Roger Dale Smith and wife, Brenda; and his two grandchildren, Joeyand Suzanna.
