Services for Cooper Rhys Frazier, of Bogue Chitto, are 10 a.m.Thursday, Aug. 20, at Union Primitive Baptist Church in Ruth withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service in Brookhaven.

The infant died Aug. 15, 2009, at Texas Children’s Hospital. Hewas born on Aug. 13, 2009, to Jason Frazier and Kristi ThompsonFrazier.

Preceding him in death were his great-grandfathers, David Smith,Herman Frazier, Charles Boyd and Donald Thompson; and hisgreat-grandmothers, Helen Boyd and Betty Thompson.

Survivors are his parents; his sisters, Alex Frazier, RachelFrazier, Julianna Frazier and Jacey Frazier; his grandparents,Wayne and Shirley Thompson, of Ruth, and Mack and Hilda Frazier, ofJayess; his great-grandparents, Lois Smith and Billie Frazier, ofSaucier; his aunts and uncles, Alana and Brian Johnston, ofFlowood, Ronny and Mandi Thompson and Brandi and Chris McCaffrey,of Ruth; his cousins, Lauren Parker, Tripp McCaffrey, Turner andRailey Thompson.

Justin Stark McKinney

Services for Justin Stark McKinney, of Ponchatoula, La., are 11a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral HomeChapel with burial in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6 until 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8until 11 a.m.

Mr. McKinney, 23, died Aug. 16, 2009, in Ponchatoula. He wasborn on Aug. 21, 1985, to Barney McKinney and Jackie IveyMcKinney.

He graduated from Ponchatoula High School and was on thefootball team. He also played Dixie League basketball andbaseball.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Jarod Wayne McKinney.

Survivors are his father, Barney McKinney; his mother, JackieIvey McKinney; a son, Bryce Jarod McKinney; his grandparents,Edward and Martha Greer McKinney and Houston and Jo Smith Ivey; agreat-grandmother, Minnie James Smith; and his son’s mother, AliciaMorales.

A.J. Smith

Graveside services for A.J. Smith, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church Cemetery inLincoln County.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome on North Jackson Street.

Mr. Smith, 76, died Aug. 16, 2009, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on Feb. 1, 1933, to T.M. Smith and Coney TravisSmith.

He retired from C&M Milling Co. Mr. Smith was an U.S. Navyveteran who served in the Korean War. He was a member of Heuck’sRetreat Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a stepson, DudleySmith; his brothers, Grafton Smith and W.J. Smith; and his sisters,Lorene Furlow and Geraldine McGraw.

Survivors are his wife, Ruby Lee Hart Smith, of Brookhaven; ason, Clifton Smith, of Muskogee, Okla., his daughters, Kathy Eaton,of Brookhaven, and Betty McMillan, of Sulphur, La.; a brother,Jimmy Smith, of Wesson; his sisters, Flo Massey, of Sour Lake,Texas, and Sarah Smith, of Brookhaven; his nine grandchildren; his10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and severalnieces and nephews.
