Mable W. McNeil
Services for Mable W. McNeil, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Sunday,Aug. 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive withburial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. McNeil, 85, died Aug. 20, 2009, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Auburn on March 22,1924, to Albert E. Wallace and Velma Brumfield Wallace.
She was a retired operator for BellSouth Telephone. She was amember of Montgomery Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HermanMcNeil; her brothers, Clifford “Sonny” Wallace and Robert R.Wallace; and her sisters, Gloria Jean Wallace and LurlineCutrer.
Survivors are a son, James C. Hawkins Jr., of Bogue Chitto; herdaughters, Jimmie C. Moak, of Bogue Chitto, Sharon “Connie”Millstein, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Peggy McNeil, of BatonRouge, La.; a brother, Rayford Wallace, of Brookhaven; her sisters,Mattie Lee Hughes, of Auburn, and Dorothy Moak, of Bogue Chitto;her 13 grandchildren; and her 11 great-grandchildren.

Services for Gary L. White, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. Saturday,Aug. 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial inLittle Bahala Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. White, 68, died Aug. 19, 2009, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born on Dec. 20, 1940, toJames Oliver White and Edith Furr White.
He was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Little Bahala BaptistChurch.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James Oliver and EdithWhite.
Survivors are his wife, Billy May White; a son, Kurk White andwife, Diana; a daughter, Lisa Jackson and husband, Kurt; a brother,James White and wife, Verna; and his four grandchildren, BrantWhite, Rhett White, Shane Jackson and Seth Jackson.
