Ida Marie Smith Crombie

Services for Ida Marie Smith Crombie, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Friday, Sept. 25, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel inBrookhaven with burial in Union Hall Baptist Cemetery inBrookhaven.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Crombie, 62, died Sept. 23, 2009, at Pine Crest Guest Homein Hazlehurst. She was born on May 1, 1947, to William Bailey Smithand Thelma Marie Upton Smith.

She will be remembered always and loved forever. May she restpeacefully in the house of the Lord.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother, ElleyLloyd Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Timmy Durr and wife, Linda, Mickey Durrand wife, Brenda, and Jimmy Durr, all of Brookhaven; her daughters,Patricia Bitner, of Oklahoma, Deborah Durr and husband, Malcolm, ofWesson, Theresa Williams and husband, Dempsey, of Brookhaven, andBarbara Restivo and husband, Frank, of Independence, La.; herbrothers, Buddy Smith, Bobby Smith and wife, Pam, Eddie Smith andwife, Betty, of Crosby; her sisters, Audrey Newman, of Brookhaven,and Ann Upton and husband, Paul, of Holly Springs; her 17grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ashley and Joshua Durr, Jessica, Kaylaand Timothy Durr, Brittany and Brian Rippy, Mickey Durr Jr.,Crystal Buffington, William and Kimberly Durr, LaDale Williams,Talita Ruble, Sal, Alex and Stephanie Anderson; and her 10great-grandchildren.

Ruby Lee Kelly

Services for Ruby Lee Kelly, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Saturday,Sept. 26, at Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at Williams Mortuarywith family present Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Miss Kelly, 76, died Sept. 21, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Lincoln County on April 13,1933, to Anderson Kelly Sr. and Carrie Putman Kelly.

She was a member of St. James M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, NevaKelly, Dorothy Kelly, Mablene Kelly Porter and Clementine KellyTerrell; and her brothers, E.C. Kelly, Robert Lee Kelly, R.D.Thadison, James Richardson, Eugene Richardson and Willie AlbertKelly.

Survivors are her sisters, Carrie Kelly Kees, Bertha KellyLittle and Mary Nell Peavey, all of Brookhaven; her brothers,Nathaniel Kelly, of Hammond, La., Elijah Kelly, of Brookhaven, A.J.Kelly, of Jackson, and Louis Kelly, of Greenville; and her manynieces, nephews and other relatives.

Jackie Ray Winston

Services for Jackie Ray Winston, of New Orleans, La., formerlyof Franklin County, are 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at MarshallFuneral Home Chapel in Bude with burial in Meadville/New ForkCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Winston, 58, died Sept. 20, 2009, at Tulane Medical Centerin New Orleans, La. He was born in Bude on Oct. 3, 1951, to EdwardWinston Sr. and Beatrice Kelly Winston.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brothers, JohnL. Winston and Milton Winston.

Survivors are his siblings, Bobbie Lewis, Edward “June” WinstonJr., Ruby, Rowan Winston, Pearlie Moore and Willie Earl Winston;and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
