Services for Moses E. Williams, of Hazlehurst, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 29, at St. Peter Rock M.B. Church in Wesson withburial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Williams, 75, died Sept. 23, 2009, at Hardy Wilson MemorialHospital. He was born in Copiah County on March 24, 1934, to LeeWilliams and Clara Clay Williams.

He was retired. He was a member of St. Peter Rock M.B.Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sisters,Blanche Vance and Wilema Roberson.

Survivors are his sons, John Moses Washington and wife,Jeanette, and Bobby Ray Washington and wife, Ida, all ofBrookhaven, Steve Washington and Johnny Washington, both of Wesson,and Albert Lee Washington and wife, Dashunda, of Jackson; hisdaughter, Janet Jones, of Wesson; his stepson, Henry Haywood andwife, Ella, of Hazlehurst; his stepdaughter, Lula Peyton and HazleWashington, both of Wesson, Barbara Smith, of Brookhaven, andVivian Haywood, Jean Green, Lorie Green, and Michelle Davis, all ofHazlehurst; his devoted friends, Lauresteen Washington and MarieGreen; and many grandchildren and other relatives.
