Services for Rita Noble Schmidt, of Brookhaven, are 2:30 p.m.Friday, Oct. 23, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel inBrookhaven with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Schmidt, 88, died Oct. 21, 2009, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 21, 1921, to William Edward Noble and NellieYoung.

She was a seamstress. She was a member of St. Frances of AssisiCatholic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William and NellieNoble; her husband, Emile Schmidt; and a daughter, Joy AnnChandler.

Survivors are a son, William Schmidt; a half sister, GloriaPace; her five grandchildren, Diana Bradley Mezzares, Frank EricBradley, Derek and Ryan Schmidt and Gavin Schmidt; and her sixgreat-grandchildren.
