Services for Harold E. Harrison, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Jan. 5, at New Zion Union M.B. Church with burial in BogueChitto Cemetery. R. E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Harrison, 76, died Dec. 28, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn in Laurel on Sept. 13, 1933, to Willie Harrison and BeatriceCraft Harrison.

He was a former self-employed truck driver.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters, GeraldineSmith and Bernice Connely; and his daughter, Vivian Harrison.

Survivors are his wife, Della Holmes Harrison, of Bogue Chitto;his sons, Vicky Holmes and Dennis Harrison, both of Patterson,N.J., and Clifton Harrison, of Dover, N.J.; his daughters, CathrineBracey, of Bogue Chitto, Retha Lennon, of Patterson, AprilynnHarrison, of Warden, N.J., and Hazel Washington, of Wesson; hisbrother, the Rev. Garland Harrison, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; his sister,Reana Price, of Brooklyn; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild.
