Services for William R. Bailey, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. Saturday,Jan. 2, at Macedonia M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial in theSt. John Community Cemetery in Wesson.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. at R.E. TylerFuneral Home in Brookhaven with family present from 6 until 7 p.m.The chapel is open to receive flowers at 11 a.m.

Mr. Bailey, 68, died Dec. 27, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Wesson on July 7, 1941, toLouis Bailey and Ella Mae Lee Bailey.

He was a retired bus driver in Chicago, Ill., and worked forChicago Transit Authority. He was a member of and pastor’s aide atMacedonia M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brothers, Eddieand Michael Bailey and Harry “Ted” Cain.

Survivors are his wife, Sara Gray Bailey, of Wesson; his sons,Roland Bailey, Adrien Bailey, both of Wesson, and Randy Brooks, ofSacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Darlene Dodds, of Springfield,Mass.; a brother, Robert Bailey, of Calumet City, Ill.; a sister,Joanne Hunt, of Dolton, Ill.; and his eight grandchildren.
