Services for Johnnie Ray “Preacher Jackson” Jackson, of Wesson,are 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Springhill United PentecostalChurch in Wesson with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Friday beginningat 9 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Jackson, 84, died Jan. 13, 2010, at his residence. He wasborn in Georgetown on July 31, 1925, to Charles Thomas Jackson andJulia Etta Keys Jackson.

He worked as a truck driver for Central Supply and worked forthe Copiah County dump. He was a member of Springhill UnitedPentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, AnitaJackson; his three brothers, Charles Jackson, Carroll Jackson andHulon Jackson; and his two sisters, Laverne Hall and FrancesBoatRight.

Survivors are his wife, Pauline Jackson, of Wesson; a son,Dennis Jackson; a daughter, Reba Haffner; his brothers, Earnest”Buckel” Jackson and Robert “Sonny” Jackson; his sisters, Joyce”Tiny” Ratliff and Lois Hall; his eight grandchildren; and his 20great-grandchildren.
