Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kern Hoff, ofBrookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage oftheir daughter, Elizabeth Kay Hoff, to Sidney Thompson III.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Douglass Thompson, ofHazlehurst.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kenneth Warren andMr. and Mrs. Aldace Lee Hoff, all of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Carolyn Morgan, of Wesson, the late BaronMorgan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Thompson.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Brookhaven High School andreceived a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education fromLouisiana State University in December 2009. While attending LSU,she was a member of the Phi Gamma Chapter of Chi Omega.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Wesson AttendanceCenter. He attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College, MississippiState University and is presently attending Mississippi College. Hewill graduate in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree inkinesiology.

The wedding will e solemnized on Saturday, the 24th of April, at4o’clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church inBrookhaven.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding andthe reception immediately following at the home of the bride’sparents.
