Services for the Rev. Tyree Harrison, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Thursday, Jan. 28, at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church inBrookhaven with burial in Carver Heights Cemetery. R.E. TylerFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

The Rev. Harrison, 91, died Jan. 21, 2010, at his residence. Hewas born in Brookhaven on June 16, 1918, to Willmon Harrison andLillie Diggs Harrison.

He was a minister and a retired electrician. He was a member ofDella Green Missionary Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Willie B.Harrison, Jack McGee, James E. Harrison and Nathaniel Harrison.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy McNulty Harrison, of Brookhaven;his sons, Willmon Harrison, of Fresno, Calif., and Roger Harrison,of El Paso, Texas; his daughters, Mary Tucker, of Chicago, Ill.,and Geanette Porter, of Bogue Chitto; his brother, the Rev. CharlesMcGee, of Brookhaven; and a host of grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren.
