Jacqueline Close and Robert Kornegay Jr., both of Tallahassee,Fla., were united in marriage at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009,at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Ga.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Close, ofTallahassee, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Williams,also of Tallahassee.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kornegay, ofTallahassee, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Johnston, ofBrookhaven.

The Rev. Robert Gray officiated the ceremony.

On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at theTallahassee Garden Club.

After a wedding trip to the Caribbean, the couple has made theirhome in Tallahassee.
