Former resident, Paige Johnson Smith said she was getting cowboyboots and another former resident, Mickey Wallis, said he hopedthat the Valentine fairy would bring better weather!

Kristy Wallace said she and her husband are getting a babysitter,getting reservations at Mitchell’s and then a movie. She’s hopingfor the movie “Valentine’s Day” and he’s planning on”Wolfman!”

Katelyn Teasley said she was going to be with her sweet baby girl,Parker.

Ruby Nan Midkiff had her special day last weekend. Since she can’tdrive long distances, her husband, Lewis, drove her to Memphis andthen to Arkansas to visit his relatives. He then got her back toMemphis for a girl day on Saturday with her friend, Nancy. OnSunday Ruby Nan and her niece, Amy, had a nice brunch at OwnBrennan’s and attended the musical “Jersey Boys.”

Carly and Josh Jordan are going to couples’ night at Easely Amusedin Jackson to do self portraits, and Rhonda and Mitch Rayborn aregoing to Mitchell’s but she says everyday is Valentines.

Martin has been helping me fix up my grandmother’s house for a newpainting adventure I’m developing with my friend, Jennifer Smith.Nothing says love like KILZ and wall paint. When I come up withthese crazy ideas, he just smiles and asks where to throw thepaint. That’s what I call love and Valentine’s Day. It’s the smallthings all year long that make a difference.

Congratulations to Bonnie Holmes for being named the SouthwestBoard Realtor of the year. This board covers a five county area.Best wishes to her husband, Jerry, who is recovering fromsurgery.

Mark your calendars for this Saturday for the benefit for MiMiStegall at Southway Baptist Church. There will be a silent auction,a hamburger supper and gospel singing. Among other things at theauction will be Bulldog, Rebel, LSU, Southern Miss and possiblySaint outdoor decor.

Congratulations to my son, Tate and wife Kelly. They are expectinga baby in August. Yes, this will be another grandchild forme!
