Services for Annalee Joyce White Allen, of Sontag, are 3 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 20, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NorthJackson Street, with burial in the New Hope Methodist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 4 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Allen, 77, died Feb. 17, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Hospitalin Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 25, 1933, toDavid Littleton White and Mary Elizabeth Price White.

She was a homemaker and worked at Potter Company. She was a memberof Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, George RalphAllen; her son, David Raiford Allen; her granddaughter, Wanda LeAnnAllen; her great-grandson, Mason Ray Allen; her sisters, Ava Abendand Patricia Dale Shumaker; and her brother, Walter OvertonTaylor.

Survivors are her grandson, Donovan Allen, of Sontag; hergranddaughters, Katie Torrez, of Natchez, and Samantha Allen, ofSontag; her great-grandchildren, Tabetha, Virginia and RayleenTorrez; her sisters, Mary Parks, of Wesson, Carolyn Griffith, ofMonticello, Elaine Smith, of Ocean Springs, and Margaret Wiley, ofJonesville, La.; and her daughter-in-law, Janet Fuller Allen, ofSontag.

Glenda Faye Calcote

Glenda Faye Calcote, 67, passed away in her home and went to bewith the Lord on Feb. 18, 2010.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, atBrookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in the NewHope Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born on Oct. 10, 1942, to Sherman Adams and the late CallieMcCullough Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband of 48 years,Glen Calcote; two children: son, Jerry Calcote and wife BeverlyCalcote; daughter, Ginger Parmentier and husband Brian Parmentier;six grandchildren, Dana Altman and her husband Rory Altman, LehneBrasseal, Anna Calcote, Ryan Parmentier, Micah Calcote and NickParmentier; one great-granddaughter, Madisyn Altman; two sisters,Sue Staley, Cindy Michael; one brother, Mitchell Adams;sister-in-law, Carolyn Adams; mother-in-law, Genevieve CaseCalcote; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles,very close friends and previous co-workers.

Pallbearers are Mark Beasley, Shane Adams, Jeff Calcote, LarryMcCullough, Danny Stegall and Brian Stegall.

Evonne Smith Case

Services for Evonne Smith Case, of Biloxi, are 1 p.m. Saturday,Feb. 20, at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home,West Biloxi.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Case, 83, died Feb. 17, 2010. She was born in Brookhaven onOct. 1, 1926, to William and Ella Smith.

She was a member of Popps Ferry Baptist Church.



Preceding her in death were by her parents; husband, Jesse CarlosCase; and her brothers, J.W., Virgil, Dewey, Earl, David, Alcus andHollis Smith. 


Survivors are her daughters, Betsy L. Case (Ronald) Nott, EllaRebecca Case (Thomas R.) McReynolds; her sister, Vallie Mae Smith;her sister-in-law, Bernice Smith; her grandsons, William BryantBedwell, Jancison Louis Bedwell Jr. and Geoffrey Lynn Bedwell; andher great-grandchildren, Megan Bedwell, Chelsea Bedwell and KirstanBedwell.

Services for Jewel Crosby, of Wesson, are 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb.20, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Red StarWard, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Homeon Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Crosby, 79, died Feb. 18, 2010, in Oak Grove. She was born inLincoln County on May 31, 1930, to Alter Smith and Eunice BrittSmith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christof Latter Day Saints, Red Star Ward.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Lamar Crosby;and her sisters, Relda Smith and Linda Markow.

Survivors are her sons, Steve Crosby and wife Ruth, of Columbia,and Stacy Crosby and wife Tammy, of Hattiesburg; and hergrandchildren, Tyler Crosby, Janae Crosby, Taylor Crosby, ZachCrosby, Cole Crosby and Dylan Crosby.

Reginald Marvin ‘Reg’ Falvey

Services for Reginald Marvin “Reg” Falvey, of Brookhaven, were heldat 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel, withburial in Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Falvey, 47, died Feb. 2, 2010, at his residence. He was born onJuly 30, 1962, to Marvin L. Falvey and Frances Mullen Falvey.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Grady andFlorence Mullen; and his paternal grandparents, Tom and AdaFalvey.

Survivors are his father, Marvin L. Falvey; his mother, FrancesMullen Falvey; his maternal aunts and uncles, Melinda and BillScott, and Bill K. and Jean Mullen; his paternal aunts and uncle,Vicki Douchard, and Douglas and Nancy Falvey; and his maternalgreat-aunts, Catherine Day and Ida Mae Lofton.

Edna L. Campbell Horne

Edna L. Campbell Horne, of Carrollton, died of cancer at her homeon Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. She was 47 years old.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, at OliverFuneral Home Chapel in Winona, with burial following in theProvidence Baptist Church Cemetery near Carrollton. The Rev. EliWiltshire will officiate the services.

Mrs. Horne was a nurse and attended Providence Baptist Church nearCarrollton.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Thomas Horne, ofCarrollton; her daughters, Vanessa Horne and Shanna Horne, ofCarrollton; her stepdaughters, Renee Stovall, of Grenada and TammyBoutwell, of Pace, Fla.; her stepson, Thomas Horne Jr., ofCleveland; her parents, Charles and Ursula Campbell, of Carrollton;her sisters, Loreen Wedgeworth, of Nashville, Tenn., Anna Giust andJanet Smith, both of Brookhaven; her brothers, Calvin HansCampbell, of Carrollton and John Campbell, of Thorsby, Ala.; fivestepgrandchildren; one niece; and six nephews.

Pallbearers are Aubrey Shaw, Mark Pyron, Reese McCrary, JimmyJohnson, Ricky Herndon and Justin Rabun. Honorary pallbearers areDale Bingham, Jeremy Moore and Ken Ellis.
