Frank Augustin

A funeral mass for Frank Augustin, of Brookhaven, is 11 a.m.,Monday, March 22, at the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040Lapalco, Blvd., Marrero, La., with private intermentservices.

Visitation is Sunday from 6 until 10 p.m. and again on Monday from8 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Augustin, 55, died March 17, 2010. His parents are the lateJoseph and Margaret Leinberger Augustin.

Mr. Augustin was a master barber having operated shops in GrandIsle, La., Marrero, and most recently at Mary’s Barber Shop inBrookhaven. He was a native of New Orleans, La., and had been aresident of Brookhaven for the past four years.

Survivors include his children Frank Augustin Jr. and MargaretAugustin; and his siblings, Ti-Joe, Richard, Jack and EileenAugustin.

Samuel Calvin Ford II

Services for Samuel Calvin Ford II are 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20,at Jericho Church of Christ in Wesson, with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 8 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Ford, 67, died March 12, 2010, at his residence. He was born onOct. 6, 1942, in Tangipahoa, La., to Samuel Calvin Ford Sr. andMary Foreman Ford.

Mr. Ford was retired and a member of Jericho Church ofChrist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and abrother, Wallace Ford.

Survivors include his wife, Alberta Beard Ford, of Brookhaven; twodaughters, Deborah Dixon and husband Michael, and Monica L. Talbertand husband Sean, all of Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Derrick S. Fordand wife Robin, of Grand Prairie, Texas, Samuel C. Ford III andwife Denise, of Flint, Mich., and Larry Davis, of Gulfport; 20grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Henry C.Ford, of Kentwood, La.; his sister, Emma L. Magee, of Kentwood; twospecial godchildren, Trelva Harvey and husband Mike, and DewayneBeard and wife Yolanda, all of Brookhaven; a sister-in-law, CarolynHumphries and husband Kirby, of Brookhaven; seven othergodchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends; and special friends, Lawrence and Willie Ann Benjamin, ofBrookhaven.
