Lucy Case Hall Nettles

Services for Lucy Case Hall Nettles, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Gum Grove Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Homeon Natchez Drive and again Saturday from 10 a.m. until service timeat the church.

Mrs. Nettles, 86, died March 24, 2010, at Silver Cross NursingHome. She was born on Aug. 9, 1923, in Brookhaven, to Ernest Caseand Ola Nettles Case.

Mrs. Nettles was a homemaker and had worked as a seamstress at theKellwood plant in McComb for 35 years. She was a member of GumGrove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two husbands, Versie LeeHall and Elmer “Redd” Nettles; and a son-in-law, CharlesLeggett.

Survivors include her sons, Rayford L. Hall and wife, Audrey, ofZachary, La., Timothy Jay Hall, of Bogue Chitto, and Versie LeeHall Jr. and wife, Regina, of Bogue Chitto; her daughters, BarbaraFaye Allred and husband, Dennis, of Summit, and Lynda Gay Leggett,of Summit; her brothers, Kirby Case, of Bogue Chitto, and ElamCase, of Denham Springs, La.; her 13 grandchildren, Charles CareyLeggett, Donald Leggett, Sissy Wallace, Shannai Barclay, TracyLaird, Kim Bartusek, Deadra Kight, Cody Hall, Trey Hall, MeLeahMcKay, Triston Hall, Jason Paul Hall and Allen Ray Hall; 22great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
