TERRY – Deshaune Dixon tossed a 2-hitter in leading the TerryBulldogs to a 6-1 Saturday victory against the Wesson Cobras. Dixonstruck out eight batters and walked four.

Dixon helped his own cause with a double and two singles as theBulldogs broke a 1-1 deadlock with five, sixth-inning runs.

Gib Britt (9 K, 3 BB) absorbed the loss. He gave up ninehits.

Doubles by Kyle Cross and Britt were Wesson’s only hits.

Terry got a double from Dillon Hodges and two singles from MichaelManley.
