SFC Charles Herbert Campbell, U.S. Army (Ret.)
Graveside funeral services for SFC Charles Herbert Campbell, U.S.Army (Ret.), of Carrollton, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April5, at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery at Carrollton, with fullmilitary honors. The Revs. Eli Wiltshire and Calvin Collins willofficiate the services. Oliver Funeral Home, of Winona, is incharge of arrangements.
A visitation will be held at Oliver Funeral Home on Monday from 11a.m. until 1 p.m.
Mr. Campbell died of cancer at his residence on Friday, April 2,2010. He was 81 years old.
He was the son of the late Tilman and Mattie Campbell and a nativeof Carroll County. He was a retired U.S. Army sergeant first classand a member of Providence Baptist Church in Carrollton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by hisdaughter, Edna Lynn Campbell Horne; and a sister, RuthCarpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Ursula Campbell, of Carrollton; threedaughters, Loreen Wedgeworth, of Nashville, Tenn., Anna Giust, ofBrookhaven, and Janet Smith, of Brookhaven; two sons, Calvin HansCampbell, of Carrollton and John Campbell, of Thorsby, Ala.; onesister, Patsy Ann Corley, of Carrollton; nine grandchildren; andseven great-grandchildren.

Retinna Suzette Keys Robinson
Services for Retinna Suzette Keys Robinson, of Brookhaven, are 1p.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Williams Mortuary Memorial Chapel withburial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Robinson, 44, died March 31, 2010, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on May 22, 1965, to Jimmie Keysand Dorothy Butler Keys.
She was disabled but a faithful housewife and mother. She was amember of Holy Trinity Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her father; and her brother, Jimmie KeysJr.
Survivors are her husband, Louis Robinson, of Brookhaven; her sons,Marquis Robinson and DeAntwain Robinson, both of Brookhaven; herstepsons, Louis Robinson Jr., of Altadena, Calif., and DamonRobinson, of Modesta, Calif.; her mother, Dorothy Butler Keys, ofBrookhaven; her sisters, Tobbie Powell and husband, Robert, ofBrookhaven, and Lillian Keys, of Modesta; her brothers, Byron Fox,of Barrington, Ohio, and Jermain Keys and Jaime Keys, both ofModesta; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Hugh ‘Rick’ Swarts Jr.
Services for Hugh “Rick” Swarts Jr., of Stephenville, Texas, andformerly of Summit, are 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, at FriendshipBaptist Church in Summit with burial in Reeves Cemetery. The Revs.Laverne Summerlin and Mike Smith will officiate. Jones FamilyFuneral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m.until the time of the service. Both visitation services will beheld at the church.
Mr. Swarts, 37, died March 31, 2010, in a vehicle accident. He wasborn in McComb on Sept. 17, 1972, to Hugh Swarts Sr. and Linda P.Swarts.
He was a diesel mechanic, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a 1990 graduateof North Pike High School. He will be sadly missed by all of thosewho knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Jack Swartsand Beatrice Swarts Kyzar; and maternal grandparents, Ray and InezPistole.
Survivors are his parents; his wife, Lana Russell Swarts, ofBrookhaven; his sons, Hugh “Eric” Swarts III and Eli Swarts, bothof Summit; his daughters, Savanna Swarts and Brianna Swarts, bothof Brookhaven; his stepchildren, Carlie, Chas and Caleigh Acy, allof Brookhaven; his brothers and their spouses, Scott and KimSwarts, of Jena, La., Buck and Dawn Swarts, of Camdenton, Mo., andDoug and Jolyn Swarts, of Summit; and numerous nieces andnephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Lawrence, Loyd Howington, Jerry King,Greg McCaskill, Jason Ard, Tyson Hale and John Baker.
Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Berghman.
