The parents of Meagan Ashley Bessonette and William Cody White,both of Brookhaven, announce their engagement and approachingmarriage.

She is the daughter of Steve and Missy Bessonette, ofBrookhaven,

He is the son of Denise White, of Brookhaven, and Jamie and TinaWhite, of Florence.

She is the granddaughter of Jessie Earl and June Givens, HildaFloyd and the late Eddie Floyd, Freddie Bessonette and the lateRita Bessonette. She is the great-granddaughter of Vedia Givens andthe late Cliff Givens, Helen Shaheen, and the late Earl and EdithOliver, all of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Ben and Lavon White, and the late Rogerand Barbara Aucion, all of Brookhaven. He is the great-grandson ofthe late Ray and Juanita Thornhill, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Loyd Star AttendanceCenter.

The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Brookhaven HighSchool. He is employed with Nabors Drilling.

The wedding is Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 6:15 p.m., on thebeautiful Florida Point Beach in Orange Beach, Ala.

All friends and relatives are invited.

The couple will honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico.
