Services for Robert “Tony” Teasley, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m.Wednesday, May 19, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Copiah County,with burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 18, at the church

Mr. Teasley, 54, died May 14, 2010, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Humbolt,Tenn., on July 22, 1955.

He was a riverboat captain with Ingram Barge Co.

Preceding him in death were his father, James. E. Teasley, and hisbrother, Jimmy Earl Teasley.

Survivors are his wife, Christina Pettit Teasley, of DenhamSprings, La.; his daughters, Sebrina Teasley, Rachael Teasley,Tonya Teasley and Jennifer Garcia; his mother, Juanita Louise SmithTeasley; his sisters, Melba Bozeman, of Hazlehurst, and CherylTeasley, of Van Buren, Ark.; his grandchildren, Corey Dean Jr.,Hope Dean and Jacob Dean; his Uncle Dennis, Aunt Betty Jo, Janet,Tony, Jerry, Denise and Tracy Beall, and Uncle Johnny Ray, AuntMarie, Cindy, David and Lil Johnny Cooper; and a host of aunts,uncles, nieces and nephews.
