Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Gregory Herrick, of Cleveland, announce theengagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, SarahElizabeth Herrick, to Robert Wesley Williford, of Cleveland.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young Williford, ofCleveland.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Herrick, ofPrestonsburg, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Holbrook, of Sierra Vista,Ariz.

He is the grandson of W.O. Williford, of Jackson, and the lateUdine Burns Williford, and Daisy E. Smith, of Brookhaven, and thelate O.M. Smith Jr.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Delta State University, with abachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry, and a Master of Artsdegree in teaching. While at DSU, she was a member of Kappa DeltaSorority, Omicron Delta Kappa, DSU Diamond Girls and Beta Beta BetaBiological Honor Society. She is a member of MississippiProfessional Educators and Kappa Delta Pi Educational HonorSociety. She is employed with Ruleville Central High School as ascience teacher.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Delta State University,with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. While at DSU,he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He is employed as asales associate with Cleveland Lumber Co.

The wedding is 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at FirstBaptist Church in Cleveland. A reception will follow at theCleveland Country Club.
