Dixie Youth Baseball League playoff action began Tuesday nightat Keystone Park with the North Subdistrict Six Coach/PitchTournament for 8-year-olds. The Lincoln County Americans wallopedWesson 16-8, Natchez snuck past the Lincoln County Nationals 13-12,and Hazlehurst crushed Copiah 21-1.

In action tonight for the 8-year olds, fans will see Hazlehurstversus Franklin County at 6 p.m. on the Bank of Brookhaven field atKeystone Park. Wesson will take on the Lincoln County Nationals at6 p.m. on the Check Exchange Field. In the nightcap, Lincoln’sAmericans battle Natchez at 8 p.m. on the Bank of Brookhavenfield.
