Funeral services for Donald Ralph Smith, of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNatchez Drive, with burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist ChurchCemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 69, died June 27, 2010, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 2, 1940, to Harvey A.Smith and Euna Cade Smith.

He was a driver with the Mississippi Department of Transportation.He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother, NolanSmith.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Smith, of Brookhaven; his niecesand nephews, Stacey Burns and husband Jerry, and Carol Smith andCherri Case, all of Brookhaven, and Timmy Smith, of Tennessee; andhis great-nieces and nephews, Anna Claire Burns, Mitch Cloud,Jeremy Burns and Jack Landon Burns.
