Clyde Dennis Corkern, 61, died Aug. 1, 2010, following a lengthybattle with cancer.

A memorial service will be held at New Sight Baptist Church inBrookhaven on Thursday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m.

Preceding him in death were his wives, Patricia Ann Corkern andSherry Corkern; his father, Vernie (Buddie) Corkern; his brothers,Melvin Ray and Marion Corkern; and his nephew, Gregory (Greg)Corkern.

Survivors include his sons, Jason and David Corkern, of Las Vegas,Nev.; his granddaughters, Lauren and Ashley Corkern, of Arkansas;his great-granddaughter, Bailey Ann Corkern, of Arkansas; hismother, Bessie Corkern, of Wesson; his sister-in-law, BarbaraCorkern, of Wesson; and three nieces.

Harrigill Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
