Funeral services for Mary Magdalene Moak Adams, of Brookhaven,are 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Brookhaven Funeral Home onNatchez Drive, with burial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery inBogue Chitto.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Adams, 82, died Aug. 29, 2010, at Golden Living Center-BrookManor in Brookhaven. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 27,1927, to Harvey Reggie Moak and Cassie Elizabeth WallaceMoak.

She worked at Stahl-Urban Manufacturing Company for 14 years andwas retired from Cooper Lighting Industries in Vicksburg. She was amember of Calvary Baptist Church and was a devoted daughter, wife,mother and grandmother. She was loved at Golden Living Center -Brook Manor, where she was known as “Happy Jack” and “Yes indeed.”

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 50 years,Henry Pink Adams; her brothers, Esco Wallace and Walter Moak; hersister, Easter Cline; and her grandson, Howard Wesley AdamsJr.

Survivors are her son, Howard Adams and wife, Ann, of Union Church;her daughter, Charlotte Adams, of Brookhaven; her brothers, EdwardMoak and Zack Moak, both of Brookhaven; her sisters, RuthMcCullough, of Wesson, Rachel Wallace, of Clinton, and MaryBeavers, of Brookhaven; her sister-in-law, Ellen Richardson, ofBrookhaven; her grandchildren, Felisha Bracey and husband, Kevin,and Kristi Stephens and husband, Terry, all of Union Church; andher great-grandchildren, Drew, Blane and Emma Brock Britt, Lauryn,Parker and Taylor Bracey, and Jordan Stephens.

The family wishes to thank Golden Living Center-Brook Manor fortheir loving caregiving to their mother.
