Funeral services for Willean Collins Thomas, of Monticello, are2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, at Quin Temple Church of God in Christin Monticello, with burial in Rocky Branch Missionary BaptistChurch Cemetery in Monticello. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home, andalso at the church on Friday, with family present from 5 until 7p.m.

Mrs. Thomas, 84, died Aug. 28, 2010, at Lawrence County Hospital inMonticello. She was born in Lawrence County on May 9, 1926.

James C. Tolbert

Mr. Tolbert, 87, died Sept. 1, 2010, in Laurel. He was born inOklahoma on July 16, 1923.
