Funeral services for JoAnn Thomas Eidson, of Brookhaven andformerly of Waynesboro, are 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, atCommunity Funeral Services Chapel, with burial in Union LineCemetery in Soso.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eidson, 57, died Sept. 8, 2010, at her daughter’s residence inBrookhaven. She was born in Jones County on Aug. 8, 1953, to MelvinThomas and Betty Rogers Boudion.

She was a homemaker. She was a graduate of R.H. Watkins High Schoolin Laurel. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and hergrandparents.

Survivors are her husband, Gary Eidson, of Waynesboro; her sons,Timmy Cannon and James Cannon, both of Brookhaven; her daughter,Teresa Watkins, of Louisiana, and Shana (Nicky) Cannon, ofBrookhaven; her brothers, Jimmy Dale Thomas and Ronnie Thomas, bothof Brookhaven; and her grandchildren, Devin Dyess, Austin Walker,Haley Pierce, Jacob Floyd, Raiden Floyd and Carly Anna Floyd, allof Brookhaven.
